JOB SUMMARY:

  • Maintains and maximizes a large portfolio. Responsible for aggressively soliciting and servicing prospective customers producing a variety of commercial and consumer loans. Generates and manages a portfolio of business and corresponding relationships, while seeking new accounts through calling efforts, marketing, and referrals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide direct service to customers of the Bank with respect to deposit and loan products and services; approve and reject loan applications within individual lending authority levels.
  • Assist customers in obtaining specialized services from other Bank departments as necessary; provide help to customers with specific inquiries or service problems.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures which impact commercial services.
  • Obtains and analyzes financial data, provides services on approved lines of credit, equipment, financing loans, etc.
  • Keeps informed as to the status of loans in the department. Follows current loans to ensure complete compliance with terms.
  • Makes decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits, or makes recommendations to a supervisor. Participates with senior lender on large loans.
  • Interviews applicants to develop information concerning their business, needs, desires, abilities, and earnings to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk.
  • Participation in community services activities and employee events is encouraged.
  • Carry out such other duties as may be assigned or requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience, loan production in commercial and real estate lending, loan portfolio administration and product sales
  • Relationship management skills for key commercial, small business and personal relationships.

Mortgage Loan Processor

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Perform mortgage processing, closing and post-closing duties for secondary mortgage loan officers. Carry out such other duties as may be assigned or requested by your supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Process loans for mortgage loan officers.

Assist loan officers with all documentation for loans, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Following and Preparing Checklist
  • Making sure documentation is complete and correct.
  • Verify that loans comply with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA and or VA guidelines.
  • Submit loan for automated approval through Desktop Originator (DO)/Loan Prospector (LP) and/or prepare the loan for manual underwriting.
  • Order/Follow up/Collect necessary information from customers, 3rd party entities, title companies etc. for processing and assisting purposes.
  • Verify all loans are in compliance.
  • Submit files to underwriting and work with the secondary servicing lender on conditions to move the file to closing.
  • Order and verify homeowners insurance on applicable collateral.
  • Order and verify payoffs of subject mortgages (if applicable).
  • Order and verify verification of employments, deposits etc.
  • Work with the secondary closing department/order the closing documents.
  • Close loans and assist customers as needed when loan officers are out of the office.
  • Pull Flood Certifications and notify lender and compliance officer if property is in a flood zone.
  • Pull Credit Bureau Reports for loan officers as needed.
  • Verify ALL collateral info.
  • Maintain pending files
  • Prepare Loan Packages (Process, Put file together, Fax, and Send originals)
  • Answer loan related phone calls when necessary.
  • Follow up on all recordable documentation and final title policies. Forward to servicing lender once received.

Credit Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

To analyze financial information and credit reports to evaluate degree of risk of commercial loans and to prepare financial analysis regarding the approval of credit limits and terms of loan.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Have significant dialogue with lending staff to determine the viability of new loans or strategy related to the renewal of existing loans as it relates to repayment terms and loan structure.
  • Spread business and personal financial statements using Moody's software.
  • Compile an in-depth credit underwriting analysis using FCB's Loan Submission Package & Analysis form to include debt service coverage, stress testing, guarantor strength, collateral analysis and overall relationship with the bank.
  • Provide insight and support at Officer Loan Board Loan Committees as needed during the presentation of loan approvals by FCB lending staff.
  • Review relationships greater than $250,000 to include, but not limited to, borrower financial analysis, guarantor financial analysis, collateral analysis and risk assessment.
  • Serve as an additional resource to other FCB departments on FCB Loan Policy
  • questions.
  • Accompany FCB lenders on customer calls as needed.
  • Any additional responsibilities, as assigned by the Supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 4 years of banking experience, preferably in a credit role
  • 2 or more years experience as a credit analyst in a financial institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience requiring use of demonstrated skills of financial analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize the workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel

Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions, support the accounting department, and prepare accounting reports. In addition, this position will also reconcile various general ledger accounts and perform other duties as needed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports accounting department in maintaining files for journal entries and reconciliations
  • Develop and prepare daily/monthly journal entries
  • Reconcile general ledger and accounts on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Assure that accounts are reconciled in a timely manner
  • Identify exceptions on accounts
  • Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions including, but not limited to:
  • Reviewing all invoices and set up for payment
  • Review and process check requests
  • Prepare and process accounts payable checks by due date
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Responsible for vendor file maintenance
  • Process wires
  • Create and complete Excel reports
  • Work closely with other departments of the bank to clear reconciling items in a timely fashion

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate Degree or above in accounting or finance
  • 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience, and a strong understanding of accounting concepts and internal controls. The candidate should possess strong analytical and creative skills, be able to work within a regulated environment, and work well with others.
