MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately handle money including counting, packaging and balancing cash drawer.
  • Good communications skills necessary due to extensive customer contact, cross-selling and telephone support.
  • Basic computer and 10 key calculator skills.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.

Customer Service Representative (More Info)

Job Summary:

CSR Responsibilities - Provides a full range of banking services to individual customers with emphasis on personal financial counseling, lending and customer service. Open various types of consumer and commercial checking, savings, CD and IRA accounts. Explain banking services available to prospective customers and assist them in preparing documentation. Requires knowledge of the policies, procedures and practices involved in opening new accounts.


Back Up Teller Responsibilities - Receive and pay out money, and maintain records of all transactions. Promotes the company services, answers questions and directs customers to the appropriate department for specialized services in order to keep and improve favorable customer relationships with First Community Bank.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Three years bank or related work experience.
  • Two years experience in opening new accounts.
  • One year installment loan documentation experience including Home Equity Line of Credit and a general understanding of Real Estate Lending.
  • Excellent Sales and communication skills.
  • Accurate typing and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in product knowledge, analytical skills, and problem resolution.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
